First, you will need to ensure that you have purchased and activated a roaming pass such as Roaming Passes or Roam Like Home.


Then, you will need to ensure that you have enabled data roaming in your mobile phone settings, as well as in your mobile plan.

For iOS users:


Step 1: Open Settings, then tap on 'Mobile Data'/'Cellular'.


Step 2: Ensure that your mobile/cellular data is turned on by sliding the toggle to the right.


Step 3: Tap on 'Mobile Data Options'.


Step 4: Ensure that your data roaming is turned on by sliding the toggle to the right.



For Android users:


Step 1: Tap on 'Mobile Networks/Mobile Data'.


Step 2: Ensure that your mobile data is turned on by sliding the toggle to the right.

Postpaid subscribers are advised to turn off Data Roaming if they are travelling to another country but do not intend to purchase roaming. If data roaming is turned on without an activated roaming pass, subscribers will be charged RM39/day for unlimited roaming. 

B. How to enable data roaming in mobile plan


Step 1: Open MyDigi App and tap the menu icon at the top left.


Step 2: Tap on 'Settings'.


Step 3: Tap on 'My Subscriptions'.


Step 4: Ensure 'International Roaming' is turned on by sliding the toggle to the right.
